Quick story: I ordered this jacket from the site as a c/o item. I didn't check the measurements and ordered the wrong size for me. OASAP decided I should give the jacket to one of you instead of sending it back. So..

Today I'm hosting a giveaway for a Standing Collar Biker Leather jacket - it's actually a faux-leather, for those of you wondering. Unfortunately, the giveaway has a specific size: small - but I would like to mention the small fits more like an extra-small.

The fit and shape of this jacket is amazing - it has great structure, details, and feel. I'm definitely re-ordering this guy, but in a different size. Anyway, to the giveaway...

First of all, hello! 

It's been a while - a long while, but here I am! I've been a busy girl and I feel horrible for neglecting my little blog, but sometimes you have to live your life without blogging about it. And let's be honest here - I'm not back in full-force just yet (I'm not ready to make that commitment), but I promise, eventually, I'll be back. Until then, I'll be popping in and out. 

For the record, it's not just a blogging thing - it's a whole Internet thing. The most time I spend on the Internet is on my iphone, during my lunch break at work. Seriously, I've been that busy - I don't even know what's trending this fall as far as fashion. I have heard that burgundy is the new black, but I'm not even sure that's accurate (comments below would be helpful - what are you wearing this fall? do I need to buy some burgundy?). 

Aside from burgundy. I'm pretty sure leopard loafers are a must have as well - at least that's what I'm picking up from Pinterest. Even if they aren't, I'm still all about them! I've been wanting a pair of leopard loafers since the beginning of winter last year and I finally have my pair! I found them at Aldo shoes and I'm thrilled to wear them this fall (and probably into winter as it doesn't really get cold way down here in Alabama). Oh the possibilities!

New Favorite Pair of Pants

Y'all, let me introduce you to my new favorite pair of pants. There are a couple reasons they are my favorite. First, they are my favorite color to have colored pants. (I love red pants) Second, they are skinny. Third, they are a great length for my legs. Finally, they are made of an amazing material that stretches perfectly to hug my legs, but isn't too tight. Seriously, I want these pants in black, gray, mustard, navy, green, blue, and every other color. 

On a side note: you might be thinking: Linley, why are you wearing pants and a sweater in the summer? Don't you live in Alabama where it's 100 degrees out? Yeah, but I wore this over the weekend to go see Batman and I freeze in the movie theaters. So this was perfect for the evening. I'm also planning ahead for fall ensembles. (:
