Hair Tutorial: Fishtail Braid

I've had a few people ask for a tutorial on my fishtail braid - and so here it is! I hope it's easy to understand and I'd love to know if you re-create the look! I'm also going to be doing one on a knotted bun later on. Enjoy!

The only important thing I said while the music was playing was that if you have really fine or silky hair, you may want to invest in some texturing product (a spray or balm). Textured hair really helps to keep the hair where you want it! Good luck!

I actually understood what you were doing enough that I could walk away from the computer and try it without having the video on and starting and stopping it, and for me personally that is HUGE. <3

This is my favorite braid, but alas, my hair isn't quiet long enough yet.

You are just too cute with your accent and all. Your hair is gorgeous too! I wish my hair was longer so I could do this look!

So thankful for this! My maid usually braid my hair cause I suck when it comes to hair, she's sitting next to me as I write, we'll definitely trying it, I'm all about experimenting with my hair!

Thanks for sharing this! We'll see if it works on my hair, which is a lot shorter than yours :)

Oh yay!!! I'm gonna pretend that you did this just for me. Thanks for all the product links too - I'm definitely gonna spring for some dry shampoo.

I like braiding my hair, but I always feel like I look like I'm in middle school - this is so much more of a woman braid. :)

I love doing a fishtail when in the summer when its too hot to use my hair dryer and iron but I need to look semi-presentable...now I just have to wait until my hair grows out long enough to do one!

This really makes me wish I had hair long enough for a fishtail braid...
