I recently received these prescription glasses from GlassesUSA.com. My prescription changes so often (I usually walk out of the doctor's office with a new prescription every year - and they never get better - lucky me, right?) so I often only purchase one pair of glasses. So when GlassesUSA offered me a pair of glasses to review I was thrilled! I had actually been wanting a pair of black frames so I chose the Maysn eyeglasses and I love them! They are simple and classic - exactly what I wanted.

If any of you are getting tired of your current specs and want affordable, stylish frames, check out GlassesUSA. Use the coupon code Blog10 to take 10% off your purchase when you buy glasses! (They are also currently running a discount code for 30% off and free shipping - check out their site for details)

Also, yes, my hair is darker. I colored it about a week ago and it's already significantly faded. Oh well.

In my opinion, leather pants can be tricky, but if done right they can look fabulous - otherwise, you may look like you should be walking the boulevard with smeared eye liner. #justsayin

I bought these bad boys last year on a whim (I happened to find the last pair, that happened to be on the clearance rack at GAP, and they happened to be my size. #howcouldisayno). I've only worn these a couple times (here and here), but every time I've stuck to a blouse and blazer/jacket combo. Just keeping it simple. I'm always a little nervous when I walk out of the house in leather pants, but I do love them!

This past weekend was fabulous. Mostly because it was a three day weekend after eight days of working. I spent half of my time getting some things done and errands taken care of (hints pictures of a nice, errand-running ensemble vs sweats and a t-shirt) and the other half was me on my couch, lounging, and watching mindless television. It was glorious.

In case you were wondering, no I have not made any resolutions thus far for this year. Of course I want to become more organized/de-clutter (I've downloaded and printed this calendar), eat better, drink more water, and exercise more often (I've read this book), but I'll do it at my own pace. I certainly haven't started any of those things yet, but maybe soon. Not setting specific resolutions and not starting them immediately into the new year takes the pressure off. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway.

Have y'all made resolutions? Have you kept them thus far, seven days into this new year?

A Random #001

People at work say I dress too nice, but you know, you shouldn't dress for the job you have. You should dress for the job you want. And next week I'm thinking about dressing like an astronaut.
