30for30: Eleven is My Number

Well, rather, 11 was my number. I played sport in high school and college, and it was mine. My favorite number and the one that was always on my back. And there you go, something random about me.

Moving on to the outfit. Ok, so technically (and who cares about technicalities anyway?) this cardigan isn't in the 30. To my defense, two out of three times I use cardigans as an accessory, anyway. They are good for warmth, but the are a great way to add color, contrast, and interest. To me, throwing on a cardigan is no different than throwing on a scarf - and there you go, yet another random something about me. Two today, I'm really putting myself out there.

I like love this outfit, and it is very "Linley." I like colors that compliment each other, soft ensembles, and a good necklace. I also like outfits to be comfortable and appear comfortable. I also really like not having to brush my hair when I get out of bed.

These shoes need their own paragraph. You can't see too much of them today as they are hidden by large trouser legs, but they are a wonderful and comfortable pair of purple, ruffly wedges.

Tank: Target
Cardigan: Liz Claiborne
Trousers: Banana Republic
Shoes: Ross
Necklace: Target

Also, the pants AND the shoes are two of my 30 items that are making their debut today!

LOVE IT! It's so classy. I love the southern belles and their pearls. I am a Southern transplant from the North. I need some pearls to make me official.

I was always number 12 in sports. Except for my freshman year when this silly senior girl was number 12 so I had to go with 35 or something random. But then sophomore year I was number 12 again and all was right in the world.

Great outfit per usual :)

This is such a pretty, comfortable looking outfit... I might try to do something similar (with my 30) for thanksgiving. It's classy & understated. Beautiful!

Since 11 is your number, it's only natural that you wear an outfit you love, right?

You look so pretty! The wide-leg trousers are very flattering on you, and I'm totally jealous of your purple ruffly shoes. I want purple ruffly shoes now, and I'm not even allowed to buy any until December 8th. That necklace is pretty awesome, too. :)
