Daily Threads: Hot and Humid

]
j crew top {similar}, tj maxx skinny pants {similar}, uo pumps, rafaella jacket {similar}

It's been hot, humid, and overcast lately. In case you didn't know - it's quite difficult to get dressed for that type of weather. The jacket seemed necessarily since it looked as if the bottom was about to drop out, but I could barely last two seconds with it on. I have a feeling it's going to be a long summer...

A couple twitter friends and I have been chatting about the delicious Bojangles. You see, my friend Meg is from Australia and now lives near DC - so she'd never even heard of this heavenly place. I immediately bombarded here with tweets and hopefully she gets to one soon. I went from being in Bojo Heaven to not having one within 100 miles. I freaked out a bit when we moved here and I found out because Bojangles is my favorite. Ever. So when we make weekend trips to NC or GA I always eat Bojo's - usually twice.

In other not-so-mouth-watering-news (well, it might be mouth watering to you - to each his own):

Today my friend Liz is wearing my favorite necklace from my Etsy Store!

I know this sounds crazy, but I miss the heat and humidity. Out here in Idaho it's always chilly and windy and wet (whether it be rain or snow). But I do remember wanting to melt as soon as I went outside.

I've never been to Bojangles, either. I freakin hate humidity, so I'm really not looking forward to sweltering summer heat.

Humid weather is the worst! Sometimes it's nearly 100% here which totally sucks! The top is really cute :) xo

I think I need a Bojangles, too...I am deprived!

That necklace Liz is wearing is so cute. :)

It is absolutely stammeringly humid. I HATE it! But you manage to look amazing like always- and how is your hair not a frizz pot? Mine's in hell.

When you come back to visit NC, we should meet up, girl! I'll get a Boberry biscuit with ya!

Haha, There is no Bojangle's around Memphis, TN either... so I don't know what the magic is all about, but now I am intrigued.

Also, same weather issues here-- gross!

I think you have said that you live near Montgomery, AL, well their is one in Birmingham. It has been there for about six months. It is right off of exit 1 of 459. From the gump you would turn right off of the exit andit is two traffic lights up on the left. I am originally from South Carolina and I was bummed for the 12 years I lived in Nama without those fries. Then I moved to Texas and less than a year later they get one! Good luck hope you get to go soon!

It's already humid? Wow! It's still hovering around 40 in the mornings here. Thanks again for sending me such an adorable necklace!

yup, I felt the same way when it was 97 degrees in March... it really is going to be a loooooong summer!

I love this outfit, the shoes and jacket (even though it was clearly not needed) look amazing with the gray and white. The pops of color make this outfit really fantastic! also, holy crap, I am super jealous of your long fabulous legs!

Jackets are my favorite and I hate when it's too hot to wear them. They're such an easy way to dress up an outfit! I love this outfit without it, though. The shoes are such a great pop of color to the neutral outfit! I LOVE Bojangles too! There's one just near my house that tempts me all the time. I like getting a cajun filet biscuit with bo rounds. My beau likes that and boberry biscuits.

We have been having similar weather here, except it is cooler. Thats even worse in my opinion. It's cold enough for a jacket on it's own, but then when you factor in the humidity, you can't wear it for more than 5 minutes without getting sweaty. Extremely frustrating.

But, you look relaxed and fantastic, so the terrible weather is forgiven.

Hey, I hope your parents are doing alright... I have been thinking/praying for them since your tweet about their house last week.

You are my Bojangles'-missing twin, and now we must be bloggy friends. :) I'm also from NC and now living in MD with no Bojangles' close by. My husband and I LOVE it, and this love has become a running family joke. Just last weekend when I was visiting family in NC, my sister told me she had to go on a Bojangles fast in preparation for my visit since she knew I'd want to eat there a minimum of once per day. MINIMUM.

Speaking of which, I could really go for a Bo-Berry right now...
