Daily Threads: Skinny Jeans and Heels, Again

{similar top, similar sweater, similar jeans, similar booties}

I hope y'all aren't getting too tired of me wearing skinny jeans and heels. It seems to be a re-occurring theme throughout this challenge. But, if it works - it works! Right? Right! Last time I wore this sweater, I also managed to have some ruffles peeking out - it just looks so good. I love ruffles.

I couldn't wear these heels too long after the photos were taken. I have a shin splint right now, so I switched over to my cognac boots - still 30x30 appropriate! I've started back exercising - nothing crazy, don't worry - and I almost always get a shin splint when I start working out after a long break. I think it's my shoes because this just happens way too often. Or it could be my body telling me not to work out...

Cute! I love all your outfits...so stylish and pretty! And you can pull that mustard color off. I must say that that color looks so bad on me! haha.
Thanks for sharing with us un-stylish people how you fix your scarves & belt. I have yet to put my hands on a skinny belt that fits around my middle...guess that's a good thing though :) BUT, I could just get a regular one and tie it and it would work just fine! Also, (sorry for the long comment) I watched your hair curling tutorial and I love curling my hair now! I have some off-days but other days it's just so bouncy and cute!

I just started working out again also. My body is feeling it! :)

Love that look! I'm training for a 5k and I get shin splints too! My husband is training for an ironman (crazy?!?!) right now and he told me about these great shin exercises that help sooo much!

You flex your feet towards you and hold for like 2 to 5 minutes. Then you do 10 clockwise circles, 10 counter-clockwise circles and 10 flexes back and forth... Does that make any sense? Anyways it helps so much! After a few days of doing this, the pain is completely gone!

Try some new sneakers and see if that helps. That sounds really painful, I'm sorry!

On the upside though, you look INCREDIBLE! You're right, if it works, it works. And this works! That bright yellow is gorgeous on you and I am loving those booties!

I definitely love the ruffles peeking out look! This sweater is a great color on you with your hair and skin tone. I think I want those heels a little more every time you post them! Lol.

Hey! As far as shin splints goes... you should head to a running specialty store and get fitted for the right sneakers. Trust me, once you are in the right shoes, you won't get shin splints at all anymore! I suggest getting a shoe evaluation at least once a year at a running store!

Anyway - I love your jeans and heals look! :)

Hi, Linley! I love your style. I sincerely look forward to reading your blog everyday :)

I'm new to the blogging world and recently joined the FBFF. Sooo, I "awarded" you the Renaissance Woman - Best All-Around Blogger, Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle award. I know that's not saying much, since I don't have a following, but I did write a little blip about you and your blog, which I hope serves as an encouragment to you :) Keep up the good work, beautiful girl!

God Bless,
Brooke

If you find a look that works for you, you should absolutely exploit it! I love the combination of mustard and black-and-white polka dots — I've seen it in a couple places and I think it always looks so fresh and cheerful!

I hope the shin splints clear up soon; they're the worst. I used to get them when I was a figure skater, but sometimes running can cause flare-ups too.
