Daily Threads: Rainbow Bright

Still very cold here, but I tried to beat it best I could today. I threw on my brightest item (which were conveniently  corduroy!), a blanket-sized scarf, and I wore a coat. I was still freezing. The cold won. Again. Score: 0-2.

I played with the pictures today. I used a cross-processing effect on them - hope you don't mind. It's very different from the way I normally edit my photos, but it's fun. And I like it. And I don't look so pale. I look orange. Which, now that I think about it, is a lot worse than pale. I can't win today.

It's the weekend! Even though Fridays are still (technically) work days, I've always considered Friday the weekend - even when I had classes or clinics. They are easy to get through and then you are free! For a couple days at least! This weekend husband's parents are coming to visit from Savannah and we are super excited to have them! I love having visitors, especially family and close friends - want to stop by?

P.S. In case you were wondering, I'm pulling for the Steelers. I have Black and Yellow on repeat this weekend.

*Also, check out my "Why I Remix" post over at Kendi's blog!*

Hope you have a happy weekend.

Loved the guest post on Kendi's. I find myself having the same problem with my closet and end up just buying more! I've been slowly trying to do more and more remixing, thanks for the inspiration!

I would never have thought to put tan boots with red pants, but it totally works! Really keeps the tone of the outfit neutral (with the cream jumper especially) as opposed to kids-tv-presenter bright.

Really classy way to do brights, Love it! xxx

At least you LOOK warm! The editing looks nice, definetely not orange.

I will overlook the fact that you are rooting for the Steelers this weekend :shudder: I have a high amount of dislike for that team...

I really love those cords! Every time you wear them I wish I had a pair! I used to own some red skinny jeans but I got rid of them--how silly of me! Stay warm and enjoy your weekend, Linley!

I really like the editing you've tried. It looks great. I also really love the way you've styled red pants. Such a bold item of clothing that can sometimes be difficult to get just right. But girl, you've got it!
