Daily Threads: Not a Model

{similar cami, similar cardigan, similar trousers, similar wedges}

I recruited husband for these photos. And we ventured out to a new location. I've actually gotten so comfortable with my tripod, that I felt awkward with an actual person behind the camera. Near the end of this photo-taking adventure, husband told me to be sexy. Sexy? Uh... hmm... and I froze. Probably some of the worse photos of the whole bunch. I knew right then and there I could have never made it as a model. No, I was never given the chance, but had I - it wouldn't have been pretty.

I tried to have my roommate take my photos once. It was awkward...real awkward. And not pretty...at all.
You look lovely and put together as always :)

Man, you chose a great time of day to take these photos. The light is gorgeous (and so is your outfit!).

Dear lord, I can't do 'sexy' either. Nor can I imagine how I'd behave if someone else was taking my photo (so used to my self-timer propped up on the kitchen counter!)

You look fantastic though here - and with your long fabulous legs I'd say you could definitely be mistaken for a model anyday.

Loved the sunset on the back! Gotta love you hubby for saying that, you looked adorable and yes sexy why not! Any woman who feels confident is sexy, althoug I would've been shy too!

Love the cardigan! That's exactly the color and cut I'm looking for.
Oh and I totally relate on the photo thing. I ever only take my pictures by myself - and I would totally freeze if I was told to be *anything*, to be honest. Even my browser can relate, as it froze while I read your entry, LOL! And I didn't even tell it to be sexy ;-)

I totally know what you mean about the tripod/real person situation. I have gotten so used to taking my own photos that when husband of one of my friends helps me out by snapping some photos I freeze and don't always know what to do with myself. Oh geez.

These really are some great photos, Linley! I am a part-time model and so comfortable around my husband so I thought it would be completely fine, but it took me some getting used to!
