Hunter

So I've had my heart set on red Hunter boots for a couple years now. Red is a fun color and, let's face it, you wear rain boots on not-so-fun days. If you're wearing these bad boys it's either raining, snowing, or, at least, overcast. Why not have a fun, bright color?

However, lately I've been contemplating other colors. I love the dark olive green for it's classic look; I like navy blue because it's a great neutral and blends perfectly with skinny jeans. And then - then - I stumbled upon these lovelies. They look absolutely gorgeous and sophisticated - even though they are just rain boots, I feel like they could be worn up or down.

I have some thinking to do, but in the meantime, I'd love to hear which pair you'd pick!

I just got myself the Hunter (haha) green ones and I couldn't be happier! I figured, I have so many boots in black and brown and tan, etc. that I wanted something fun on my feet on a dreary day!

I'm in love!

I would pick the Navy ones. I think they're neutral enough but also a color...I think the beige might get a little boring after a while...but I see what you mean about being able to dress up or down.

The bright colours are fun, but the neutrals can be passed off as a little more 'professional' (as professional as rain boots can get, anyway). I guess it really depends on the look you want! I do really like the camel coloured ones though :)

Although I like all the colors, I think the blue would work with a wider variety of Hunter socks! But you're planning on going sockless, I'd get the camel!

Omg, I love the cafe latte! I've never seen that color ad I think I'm in love :)

I have some hot pink rain boots (but they are not hunter boots though :/ ) So I would want a color I could pair with a lot. Maybe.....the navy.

I bought myself a pair in navy earlier this year which I absolutely love because, as mentioned in another comment, it's a neutral and a color at the same time! I wouldn't mind a red pair, though, or a pair in yellow! And those beige ones are fab- hadn't seen them in that color before.

i know it wasn't an option (so this doesn't help you AT ALL), but I'd choose the purple ones... =))

i do like the idea of the cafe latte ones though - i mean, the perfect neutral boot that's ALSO waterproof? yes, please.

Definitely the olive green ones. I personally wouldn't want the boots to blend in with my jeans, and I've never been a fan of that tan color, reminds me of a boring car, lol. I say go for red!! :)

I would have to say green but those tan ones make me second guess my choice!

Trust your instinct. Go with the olive green.

I have been wanting a pair of red or pink Hunters for a while now. I would normally go for the navy or green but on dreary rainy days, looking down on pink or red boots would probably make a little happier. lol

I really like navy blue ones.
I've set my eyes on the "Hunter boa snake" ones in black. Maybe one day they'll be mine :)

My mom got me the green ones for Christmas (I can imagine spending that much on rain boots). But I absolutely love them. I even wore them to work on Monday. My next pair is going to be the Navy. I am waiting for a JCrew Flash Sale to get them on the cheap though.

I'd go for the Caffe Latte color!

I recently bought a pair of Hunter's and had such a hard time deciding on a color! I ended up going with the green, figuring they are neutral enough to go with almost any outfit, but still add a little pop of color. Even though I love the caffe latte, I'd probably stick to the olive or navy so they'll go with more!

I like the blue ones. However, I think the Latte ones would suit you perfectly.

I would say blue or green. I have the gloss black (although I wanted red...my husband only half listend :) ) and I love them! I would so go for that classic green if i was asked again!

I have also been looking around for some fun hunter rain boots! I love the idea of red, but the tan is just so different and amazing! I have some more thinking to do too!

I would ideally stick with red, you are so right about red! But....if you're going to go with a more tame color, I'd do navy. or olive, olive might be better if you're wearing jeans.

I recently just bought my first pair of Hunter rain boots about a month ago, and could not be happier. I got my at Nordstrom Rack for pretty cheap, about $90. I bought the olive green quilted ones... http://usa.hunter-boot.com/2/22/Product-Search/Regent-Savoy/DARK-OLIVE/REGENTSVY_DOV.aspx?col=22

I love the navy! They aren't too blue to wear with black, and they're perfect with brown and other colors. Such an awesome boot - one of my favorite purchases of the year so you can't go wrong with any color!

I love the latte colored ones. Hm, and the hunter green ones too...so hard, but either will look great!

Love the Cafe Latte. You don't see those often. Good luck with your choice!

I really really really want a pair! I'm thinking in a gray color though because my pea coat is a loud purple color.

I felt the same about the red hunter boots and finally ended up getting some for christmas this year from my lovely mom! They are so wearable yet easily make a simple outfit pop! I also love the navy :)
