It's been storming for the past couple of days down here in the south. Down pours, lightening shows, and thunder that rattles the house. Let me be clear, I'm not complaining; I love storms (as long as I am at home) and we definitely needed the rain - so it's been nice.
I usually dress a particular way when it rains. I do not like to wear long pants - I prefer something cropped or shorts or a dress. Why? If I wear long pants they are most definitely going to get drenched at the bottom - and that's never fun when you have somewhere to go and nothing to change in to. I also prefer sandals or boots. Now, I still have not bitten the bullet on purchasing my favorite pair of wellies (which reminds me, they need to go on a wish list), so I tend to wear sandals - they air out easily and you can just slip them off if necessary and get to where you need to be bare-footed, then just dry off your feet and carry on with your day. Is that weird? No, practical.
Do you wear anything particular on rainy days?

I always seem to go for jeans on a rainy day, even if they do get wet.
I love your pink rain coat - it's a great way to brighten up a drab day!
I always seem to go for leggings a long shirt and sandals or rain boots.
Maybe I need to spice it up a bit more because you look super cute :)
Hope you have a great day :)

Love the pink trench! I tend to wear brighter clothes on rainer days. :)
That trench is an absolutely perfect item to wear on a rainy day. Love the pink with the black and white outfit.

I agree with not wearing long pants when it rains. I hate that wet hem feeling! I love the pink with the black and white. Super pretty!

Great look! I hate it when the bottom of the trousers get all wet and sticky. Cropped trousers sound like a fabulous idea!
I love love love that trench coat...such a cute color!
I usually like to wear heels when it's raining out....that way my hems don't get wet either!

It's been raining cats and dogs down here in mexico too! Something in particular? mmm not really but I do try to stay away from long pieces that would get all wet, polka dot under pink looks cute, let's hope for sunnier weather for the weekend!

I definitely agree, I usually go with cropped pants and sandals if at all possible. Love that trench too!

I'm with you, cropped/rolled pants or a skirt/dress. It's been really rainy/dreary here in Columbus too, so I haven't worn pants in about a week! Just kidding, I wore them yesterday. But I didn't like it...
Anything but light pants, I'm always worried the dirt will splash up and make them dirty
We've been having a lot of rain here too but it's way too hot and humid to wear a rain jacket even if it's a light one. I'm with you on the cropped pants. They just work better and then only your shoes get wet!
cute outfit! i am also wearing white jeans today, but luckily there is no rain here in oregon :]
xoxo.

A seriously cute rainy day outfit, you look like you're enjoying it instead of being sad because of such weather! Awesome!
HAHA! You have no idea how many times I have run through a parking lot barefoot during a down-pour! I am so with you on the Rainy-Day Rules :)
Love your trench and the polka dots!

my rain outfits consist of a waterproof coat, an umbrella, mostly jeans and boots ^^ I love this pink trenchcoat of yours! it brightens up every rain shower! ^^ x
cute, cute jacket! if it is cold outside, i opt for skinny jeans with boots. if it is a warm storm, cropped pants and sandals. when i lived in dc, my coworkers always laughed at me because i'd always wear sandals in the rain! it just made getting my feet clean and dry possible anywhere!
