Attention Alabamians {Or Anyone Else}

So I know that several of you reading my blog are either from Alabama, moved here from somewhere else, or went to school in this state - for that reason, this post is for you. Well, it's for everyone, but specifically for you - unless you're just a generous person or love Alabama for some other reason. Getting to the point.

tornado relief Sweet Home Alabama chalkboard

I read a blog called Playing Grown Up and the lady behind it has an Etsy Shop where she sells lots of fun things including a variety of photobooth chalkboards. She most recently released a chalkboard in the shape of the state of Alabama. In an effort to help and support those impacted by the recent tornado outbreak, she is donating all proceeds from the chalkboard to disaster relief. So if you have a place in your heart for the state of Alabama, hop over here and buy one!

We used to live in Auburn and absolutely loved it. I miss it alot but am glad to live close to family again (and away from terrible heat and humidity!) I am so sad to see the devastation caused by the tornadoes. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for sharing this! I blogged, tweeted, and purchased one! I lived in Tuscaloosa for four years, and it is my husband's hometown. Needless to say, it feels like home to me. It has been such a sad week. I'm glad to find a small way to help!
