Daily Threads: Changing Things Up

 {top: similar, shoes: similarskirt, belt: j crew, scarf: thrifted}

Let's address a few things here. Yes, I've deviated a bit from the norm to add in one extra picture. A regular sized shot - it's not really zoomed in or anything, but it adds variety - which some of you asked for. I also included a detailed shot - which, again, many of you asked for. I'm not sure how I feel about the fifth picture. I felt like four was working out well for me, but I definitely wanted to try something new before ruling it out. What do you think? I'll probably be switching it up - for the variety effect.

Next thing. Yes, I should have started applying a self-tanner lotion at least three days before wearing this skirt with bare legs. Or worn stockings. But I don't have any sheer, flesh colored ones and, well, I can't buy them for a couple more days - so that wouldn't have worked out either.

Final thing. If you visit my blog you'll see I've changed things up just a bit. I've added a new banner that should carry me into summer, changed the color of post titles, and re-vamped my sidebar links. I like it and hopefully you all do too! I really took into consideration all of your input and I still have a few more things to take care of!

Have a lovely Thursday!

That skirt is to die for! I just love it. This is so cute! And your legs are not that pale... I didn't even think anything about you needing self tanner or anything. I like the 5th picture! and I am loving the new banner.

cute outfit! i like the fifth shot, a close up detail is good to see what you're wearing without squinting at the screen. (or is that just me?) and the new banner looks good, too! i just made over my blog as well. bring on spring & summer!

The changes look super cute Linley! And there's no shame in bare legs, they have to come out sometime - I can't wait for the temps up here to rise so mine can make their debut :)

LEGS! They look amazing under that red skirt. And I'm glad they aren't tan yet--it would be weird to have perfectly tan legs in March, so this looks natural and gorgeous. Love the pink belt with it, too.

I love the new header! And your legs look insanely long in these pictures, jealousss.

LOVE the skirt and shoes. Both are on my list to buy for spring (unfortunately up here in NY bare legs might still be a long way off).

I'm loving your blog!

Like everyone else is saying, holy long lovely legs Linley! (couldn't help myself :P)

I love this outfit, I wish I could wear a skirt without tights now. I wish it was warm enough to consider bare legs. Actually, I wish I could wear a skirt and have my legs look like that too! Lots of wishes, none that can come true quite yet.

I like all the new changes to the blog! Who cares if your legs aren't tan (it's not quite Spring anyways) when they look so long and tone! You're rocking this outfit. Red is a great attention grabber so I love how you paired it with simple pieces.

Very cute outfit - the pink belt is especially fun.

And I like the close-up shot - it helps see specific colors, patterns, etc that may not be visible in the wider shot. I think it's a good addition.

I love the new banner! I had a similar experience yesterday when I realized I was wearing a skirt with no tights, and my legs were super white. Oh well! Let's embrace the pale!

I love your new banner! I should probably get around to doing that since mine is kind of winter-y, and I'm not going to want to look at that for much longer. So thanks for reminding me haha.

I also loooove that skirt. Its the perfect shade of red.
