30for30: Twenty-Eight

Today I went for simple. It's cold. It's snowing - kind of. The weather man said there was going to be snow above our area throughout the day, but it wouldn't reach the ground. So technically it was, technically it wasn't, but the point is: it's cold. Did I already say that? I roughed it out for three minutes so I could take these photos without a pea coat. I did this for you, guys. You can thank me by sending a Christmas gift.

Speaking of Christmas gifts. I did some shopping today. To me Christmas shopping and making homemade gifts (which I am doing some of this year) really puts me in the Christmas Spirit. Giving is so much fun. We should all do it more or as much as we can. Whether it's a dollar for the homeless man, a smile in passing, or a gift someone really wants - the end result is a happy person and we need more of those on this earth.

Tee: Forever21
Cardigan: Target
Skinnys: TJ Maxx
Boots: Steve Madden
Scarf: NY&Co.

Your scarf looks so warm and soft! You look amazing, as per norm, and are doing a great job on the challenge!

My favourite presents to give are experiential ones such as taking someone out for a meal or tickets for a show. My friend makes his own limoncello and dry cookie mix which I think are awesome too.

Bundle up - it's cold out there! :)

Such a great message in this post! I agree and wish that the Christmas Spirit would stick around all year! I always feel better when I give, even if it's just a dollar to the Salvation Army Bell Ringer. :)

I love your casual outfit! Yay for snow, but Boo for cold. ;)

Linley--you're right about the giving! I'd love to know what you are making...when the challenge is over. I have some DIYs to put up, but I hesitate as some are for my daughters...and if I put them on my blog, it won't be a surprise any more.

I call this combination (jeans + cardigan + scarf) my uniform - so easy to put together and wear, but still looks so great! The color of your scarf is so pretty.

I love giving to people. I think I'd rather give than get, in all honesty. I mean, I enjoy getting too but giving just brings me so much more joy! I hate that I can't give as much as I want to this year. It really kills me.

Snow that doesn't hit the ground makes for easier (and way nicer!) shoe styling options ;)

Purple looks great on you dear, but then again you always look great xx
