Fab Five Friday: Fall Edition

So it's not technically fall, but with Labor Day behind us and these fall-like weather conditions here in Alabama, I'm pretending it is. So I'm here to share with you five, fall-related things I've loved this week! Go!

It's here! Tuesday Starbucks started selling these tasty treats and I was there to enjoy my first of many this season! If you haven't tried one of these get to your local Starbucks and try it out. Unless you're crazy, you'll love it! They also have this Salted Caramel Mocha thing going on that I think I will have to try out. Have you tried this one yet? I'd like to hear about it before I forego my PSL and try something new.

I love B&BB winter candles (Fresh Balsam, omg!) . I stocked up last year and when they make their seasonal debut this year I plan to do the same thing. This year I showed up a little early for the fall scents. I've heard a couple people rant and rave about the Leaves Candle and I just could not resist smelling it myself. Let me tell you, it was love at first sniff. It has a pumpkin, spiced cider aroma - perfectly fall! This is my fall candle!

These are my beloved NC mountains - one of the best places in the world as far as I am concerned. In two weeks I will be heading to these glorious mountains and I am about to jump out of my pants to get there! I mentioned above the weather here lately has been delightful. Cool in the morning and mildly warm in the afternoon - perfect. I'm enjoying every second of it as we will be back in the 90s next week. Boo.

The NFL is back and we watched the opening game last night. Do I have a team... eh, not really. I do tend to always pull for the Falcons, Chargers, and Eagles - but I just prefer to watch good games and amazing players. I am in a fantasy football league this year and I'm looking forward to that opening my eyes even more to the game. I love it!

It took a lot of will-power to resist buying all these gorgeous, fall colors. So I just purchased Carry On and then ran out of the store so I wasn't tempted to buy the others. Essie is my all time favorite nail polish; I love how it applies, wears, and the colors. The colors! That's my favorite part. Their colors are always perfect. All of them.

No link-up this week. Sorry, it just didn't seem to be a big hit. Feel free to continue your own Fab Five posts and comment below with your link!

OOH the Salted Caramel Mocha is good!!! I mean, PSL is still my number one, but I really like the SCM. Not everybody does... but I would definitely recommend it. Have a great weekend!

I love Essie nail polish, too! I only have three colors right now, but I'll probably have to snag some of their new fall one, also. In Virginia, the weather's been unseasonably cool. We actually had flash floods yesterday so bad that our county cancelled school for the day. I'm pretty sure next week, the temperature goes back into the 80s. I'm a 70s girl, myself.

I love the Pumpkin Spice Lattes! They can become a bit expensive since I want to drink them EVERYDAY in the fall. So, when I discovered the Pumpkin Spice Creamer by Coffee Mate I was in heaven. Have your tried this? If not, you must!

Love your blog!

I'm with you! The Essie collection is gorgeous this fall and carry on is the best by far! I also ADORE the Leaves scent. So yummy. I can't quite move on to fall until it's actually fall with my scents however....

I love the North Carolina mountains, pumpkin spice lattes, and the entire Essie fall collection. It will be really hard not to buy every color.

First off, I love everything about this post. Why? Because I like everything that you listed.

1. Pumpkin spice lattes = beginning of fall. Every Starbucks lover out there knows the dealio. DUH :)
2. Essie's fall collection is something that I have dreamed of getting. It's seriously a must-buy.
And I do have a lot of those...
3. Scented candles and I are best friends.

Have a fab weekend!

I think I must be crazy, then. I had one today and didn't like it that much...it was a bit too sweet for me. I like my coffee black and my lattes with skim and no sweetener. :) Oh well.

I do love those essie colors though.

I also went and got myself a pumpkin spice late. I have been counting down for months for this baby. I hope yours was as delicious as mine was.

I don't really hit up coffee shops, but I definitely hit up my local starbucks during the fall for the pumpkin spice latte. I also love the Leaves candle! I usually take that one out around halloween. We have a pumpkin spice candle, but we actually keep that one in the kitchen year round. something that my bf does to make the house smell good during the cooler months is simmer some cloves and cinnamon in an old, tiny pot. We reuse those cloves and cinnamon sticks for the next time.
