Let's just go ahead and address the elephant in room on the blog - yes, my very first outfit of this challenge was very similar, but still different. I love them both. Husband loved this outfit today too. I know it's good when he speaks up about it.
I tied the bottom pieces of my shirt in a knot and felt like 'elementary school Linley'. I was such a bit fan of knotting my shirt. Even t-shirts - they were knotted without fail. I feel a bit summery too. And a bit like a 1950s teenager. And just for the record - I love it.
Love the knotted shirt! And you look absolutely gorgeous with your hair like that! x

As a kid, did you ever have those neon plastic clips specifically for pulling your t shirt through for the same effect? Oh man, give me some white leggings, a hypercolor t shirt and a lime green little shirt clip and I was STYLIN.
ReplyDeleteThis, however, is a much better alternative to that look :)
This is a great outfit, I can see why your hubby likes it too! And actually, I don't really think it looks like your first outfit that much.

I've been tying my shirts lately too. There's something fresh about it. . . I think that's the right word. :)
ReplyDeleteYour hubs is right - that outfit looks great on you.

ReplyDeleteAdorable look. I forgot about how much we knotted our shirts back in the 90's! I could never figure out how to knot t-shirts just right so I always just used a hair tie haha. You must have always been gifted in the fashion arena :)
ReplyDeleteLooking fabulously 50ies! I wish I could pull this off without looking like a housewife/milkmaid. You absolutely don't look that way and you do it so effortlessly! Big thumbs up!
