We made Chicken Triangle. Which are drool-worthy. Don't worry, I will most definitely be sharing the recipe soon - it counted as one of my NYG recipes!
Saturday morning, after a large breakfast and a couple re-runs of Bridalplasty (have you seen that show?), we got ready and were about to hit the road to Birmingham until I walked out of my room and saw that Trya Dee and I were twins. Great minds think shop dress alike. So then I just switched sweater.
We went up to Bham for some shopping at the Summit. We made a pit stop at PF Changs to re-fuel and then got back to shopping. We had planned on getting downtown to explore as well, but we ran out of time.
When we got back home, before getting ready to go out to dinner, we decided we should make fudge. And then eat fudge-pot (fude-pot is when you leave a significant amount of fudge in the pot after pouring it out into the pan to harden and then just eat if straight out of the pot while it's warm - yum!).
So then we finally got all dolled-up and went to SaZa for a pizza dinner.

Sounds like you had a great weekend! Girls weekends are the best! Also I just snagged that Old Navy polka dot top for $5 this weekend, so thanks for giving me some ideas on how to style it up :)
ReplyDeleteWeekends with girlfriends are always such fun. Sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteCollin and I visited my best friend and her family this weekend and when she came downstairs after her shower to leave for church we were dressed the same, too! We both had on green ribbed cowl neck sweaters and dark wash jeans. We laughed for a little bit about it. But the ironic thing was, we had matched the day before. I showed up with a blue shirt on and a white sweater over top. She was wearing a blue shirt then and had on a white sweater over it earlier in the day!
ReplyDeleteOoh! You got your kelly green cardigan!
ReplyDeleteAnd are those UO suede pumps new? I haven't seen them before (or remember, I guess) SO CUTE!
haha i love that ya'll are almost exactly matching - so weird! sounds like you girls had lots of fun. great blog, by the way! that rose wreath diy from a few posts back is sooo cool, i just may have to try that. (:
ReplyDelete@kimmie - i've had that sweater, but it's a little too bright/neon to qualify as my kelly green sweater... so i am still waiting on the perfect one to come along. and, yes, those pumps are new! (: (a christmas gift!)
