Hair Tutorial: My Everyday, Wavy Hair

I've gotten a ton of comments asking to do a hair tutorial on my everyday, wavy hair. Just about every time I post pictures of my outfit and my hair is down, you guys ask me to do this. So I finally got the guts to record myself doing my hair and narrate as I go. This is definitely my first tutorial so ignore the "ums" and any other awkward things I may do or say.

I hope that it's helpful and close to what you all were asking for. Let me know what you think and if you try it yourself!

  4. You're so cute! I love your accent too.

I wondered how you got such awesome volume in your hair - I love it. I might give it a go when I have time to blow dry my hair.

  12. So cute, Linley! I never thought to curl that way wrapping around the barrel. I'm definitely going to try it out! I was totally thinking of doing a perfect blowout hair tutorial, but put it on the back burner because I'm not sure how I'd talk over the blow-drier. Haha.

  13. Hey! Love the video. You are so detailed with your method! It looks really good. I usually just rush through curling in about 3 minutes. I wrap my hair around the barrel when I curl too, and I figured out that not lifting the clamp at all works just as well! Just wrap around the whole barrel. (For my hair at least.) Just thought I'd share!

    Yay for southern accents!

  18. your accent sounds pretty "normal" to me. i don't hear anything either. :)

wonder if this will work with my short, STRAIGHT, does-not-hold-a-curl hair. we shall see.

  20. I love your hair! I'm going to try this, but my thin hair does not like curls, so we'll see how it goes! I'm a North Carolinian but I'm in school in SC and I miss NC so much! Also, I've loved all your outfits so far...they're all so cute!
